Man: We received your quote for the new office furniture. Frankly, the prices seem quite high.
Woman: I understand your concern. However, these are our standard rates for premium quality materials, especially considering the bulk order for the office relocation plan.
Man: I see. But for this quantity, we were expecting a discount, closer to what we paid last year.
Woman: Last year’s prices were before the recent increase in raw material costs. We can offer a 5% discount on the total amount, but that’s the best we can do.
Man: 5%? That’s not much. We need to stay within our budget for this move.
Woman: Let me check with my manager. Perhaps we can include free delivery to the new location as a compromise.
