Subject: Service at The Grand Cafe
I recently dined at The Grand Cafe for a business lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were generally attentive. We ordered the daily special, which was a pasta dish, and it was quite flavorful. However, the most notable aspect was the efficiency. We needed to discuss some matters regarding our upcoming conference room booking at the hotel, and the staff ensured we weren't interrupted unnecessarily. The bill came up to $85.50. I noticed a line item for 'service charge' which was 15%. This made me wonder about tipping customs here. Overall, a solid experience.
