Parts of speech come first
Roughly 40% of Part 5 asks which word form fits the blank. If you can identify subject, verb, object, and modifier positions, you can answer without understanding the sentence.
Tense and voice
Find the time expression, fix the tense; check whether the subject performs or receives the action, and the voice follows.
Relative clauses and prepositions
Learn who/which/that plus the twenty prepositions that keep reappearing. That is most of the remaining grammar the test uses.
