Reading section checkpoints
Part 5 done by minute 10, Part 6 by minute 18, single passages by minute 45. Checking against these three marks is enough to keep you on track.
Listening: never look back
Once the audio moves on, the previous question is gone. Mark your best guess and prepare for the next set instead.
Build a 90-second rule
Any question that resists for 90 seconds gets a guess and a flag. Protecting the easy questions further down the page is always the better trade.

Why do I always run out of time in Part 7?
Usually because Parts 5 and 6 took too long. Tighten those first.
Should I guess on questions I skip?
Always. There is no penalty for wrong answers on the TOEIC.
