Man: Hi Sarah, I'm calling about order number 789-B. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, but it's still not here.
Woman: Let me check that for you... Yes, I see your order. It appears there was a slight delay at the distribution center. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The updated tracking shows it should be delivered by tomorrow afternoon.
Man: Tomorrow afternoon? That's really cutting it close. I needed it for an event this weekend. Is there anything you can do to expedite it?
Woman: I understand your concern. Let me see if we can prioritize the delivery. While I can't guarantee same-day delivery, I'll put in a request to have it moved to the top of the delivery route. I'll also send you a confirmation email with the updated details.
Man: Okay, I appreciate that. I hope it arrives on time this time. What about the upcoming annual shareholder meeting? Is there any update on the venue confirmation?
Woman: I believe that information is being handled by the events department. I can transfer you or give you their direct number if you'd like?
