TOEIC 聽力 Part 3 — 段落

段落

Man: Hi Sarah, thanks for taking my call. I wanted to follow up on our office supply order.
Woman: Oh, hi Mark. Yes, I was just reviewing the latest quote from Stellar Office Solutions.
Man: Right. We've been using them for years, but their new quote seems to have a significant increase across the board, especially for printer ink and paper.
Woman: I noticed that too. It's about a 15% jump from our last order. I was hoping to negotiate a better rate before we commit.
Man: Exactly my thought. Their representative, David Chen, mentioned there might be some flexibility if we're willing to consider a longer contract term, perhaps two years instead of one.
Woman: Hmm, a two-year commitment is quite substantial for our office supply needs. Our requirements can fluctuate. Did you discuss specific quantities or new product lines?
Man: Not yet. I wanted to get your take first. The last order was placed six months ago, and it was for standard items. This price hike is quite sudden.
Woman: I agree. Let's schedule a brief meeting this afternoon. I'd like to explore alternatives or at least push back on this increase. Maybe we can leverage our loyalty as a long-term customer.
Man: Sounds like a plan. I'll check my calendar and send you an invite. Let's aim for 3 PM?
